obd.ng ("we", "our", or "us") is a digital real estate marketplace developed from the idea of Obodo—a connected, inclusive community. We provide access to property listings including rentals, sales, short-lets, commercial spaces, and land across Nigeria. These Terms govern your use of our website, mobile platform, and services whether as a guest, user, agent, landlord, or developer.

You’re responsible for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.

Listings & Content

All property listings must be:

Accurate, truthful, and not misleading.
Properly categorized and free from offensive or illegal content.
Verified according to obd.ng’s standards before public display.

Obodo’s vision is trust and transparency. We may remove any content that contradicts this mission.

User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

Use obd.ng for unlawful purposes or post illegal content.
Copy, scrape, or harvest data without permission.
Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations.
Interfere with the functionality or security of the platform.

Property Verification

While we strive to verify all listings for authenticity and regulatory compliance, obd.ng (Obodo) does not guarantee the full accuracy of every listing. Users are encouraged to conduct due diligence and contact verified agents or owners.

Payments & Transactions

We may charge for premium listings, featured ads, or value-added services.

All payments are processed securely.
Fees are non-refundable once the service has been rendered unless otherwise stated.

We do not act as a real estate agent. All transactions are between the buyer/renter and the property owner/agent.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, logos (including the Obodo-inspired identity), and materials on obd.ng are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content without our written permission.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misuse our services, or harm the integrity of the Obodo community.

Limitation of Liability

obd.ng is provided “as is.” While we work hard to maintain the platform, we’re not liable for:

Losses from property transactions.
Technical issues or service interruptions.
Damages arising from inaccurate listings or user interactions.
